Daniel Makuh, DDS

As a dentist, Dr. Makuh is known in the community not only for his exceptional skills at restoring oral health for his patients, but for his gentle hands and ability to connect with each patient he treats. Dr. Makuh takes time with his patients; he gets to know them as individuals and develops friendships with them, and he enjoys learning about them and from them as he cares for their mouths.

He believes that doctor-patient communication is essential and strives to ensure that each person he sees understands that anyone can come to him with questions and concerns. For Dr. Makuh, the personal touch afforded by dentistry, the one-on-one interactions with diverse personalities, are rewarding.

Education and Continuing Education

  • Bachelor of Arts, zoology, minors in economics and physics, Miami University
  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery, The Ohio State University

In addition to his formal collegiate education, Dr. Makuh believes it is essential that every oral healthcare professional stays on the leading edge of developments in the field. In order to provide his patients with the most comprehensive, comfortable treatment experience, while meeting their dental needs, he actively seeks out knowledge and opportunities to improve his skills through conferences, lectures, seminars, and hands-on demonstrations. Understanding that each patient has unique dental care needs, he feels it is essential that he is able to offer the widest range of proven treatment options and processes.
